strange engine combo

hey guys I goofed
I did not realize what i did when i put my motor together
i put 87 flat tops in a early 22r block and heads any idea what compression is
need to figure it out so i can buy a cam

My guess I highly doubt it will run like that. No matter what cam he puts into it.

motor has 20000 on it runs good 22 mpg
added header with 2 1/4 to flowmaster
32/36 weber on 2 inch open spacer
this motor wants more cam from what i can tell
but what one i buy depends on comp ratio

it will ping with just its best vacuum is 8 degrees over stock timing last motor wanted more than that
i understand later blocks were 2mm shorter like the earlier carb block
if so is this true????

The 84 and up had taller blocks. Might spin it with head off to see about the piston heigth. check this link. Very good factory info.

just checked compression 140 psi all cylinders
