starting issues, real bad.

Okay, when truck is cold normally takes a minute or two to start.but after the truck is warmed up an all I drive about half hour shut the truck off not even for 5 minutes and it doesn't want to start again. And when it does start EVENTUALLY IT DOESN'T WANNA STAY RUNNING!! Idk what is going on I've been batteling this issue for the past month. Any suggestions?

I would try the basics like fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, and cap.

New wires and plugs.. cap seems fine got it about a month ago. Where would I find the fuel filter? And note the carb is running very rich. If that means anything.

I know what you mean man, my daily driver 22RE is a no-go now too. Best I can say is I would check for the big three and ensure you're getting them good: air (pretty dang easy to check), spark and fuel. If you're using starter fluid it sounds like you may not be getting fuel when you first go to fire it up. You mentioned carb, is this a 20R?

Looks like 22R, judging by the headlights.

If it's running rich, that's a good place to start..

Always. I mean I guess if you know there is something not working correctly, and you have problems, why not fix what isn't working correctly?

Running rich isn't good for fuel economy, your cylinders, or your odor..

Well I was looking at the fuel pump and I noticed that there was a spot for a vaccum hose but no vaccum hose on it.. is it suppose to be like that? And I can't figure out how to adjust the choke..
