Rubber splash shields

Hey all,
I'm looking for a set of the rubber splash shields that attach to the front inner fenders for my '82 resto project. A couple years ago I could swear I saw a seller on eBay selling reproductions of theses parts, but my recollection may not be accurate, and I don't see any there now. Anyone know where I could come up with a set, new or used? I know finding a set might be a tall order, but if anyone would know it would be the folks here. Thanks!
Marc

I've got the rear ones. The worst part about it is I had a pair, but lost them during our last move I guess I'll keep looking...
Thanks,
Marc

I thought about that, and was going to use the set I had as a template. I think I might be able to pull it off without them though. I didn't think of the floor mat material though, that's a good idea.

One thing, if your tire blows hit the brakes quick if possible cause that tire might pound the heck out of the Mudd Flaps. How do I know? I need to remove the bracket and straighten then warm the flap to flatten

Just a FYI, it is never a good idea to hit the brakes with a flat. I'd sacrifice a mud flap before I'd sacrifice the rest of my truck running off the road

Understand that, (I did say if possible) wasn't actually a flat. I could have stopped quicker as no traffic on a side road when tire seperated at steel belt and started to hit wheelwell but I wasn't thinking of the flap being damaged. The piece of ripped tire flipped behind the mud flap pulling it up and bent the metal bracket. Its repairable but now thinking to make a daily driver set and save my originals if theres no supplier of new ones?

I've got one torn, but not torn off yet. I should pull them both and find some rubber matting and cut new ones. This must be available. Maybe buy one that's way too big and trim it down. Those splash guards are important... they keep mud from getting flung into your alternator and stuff.

I installed one of the last 4" lift spindle kits available on my old 2WD Toyota (didn't know how lucky I was). But I did not figure out how to get the metal splash guard back on, and it wasn't long before I needed new wheel bearings. Then the inner seal sealing surface on the spindle began to get pitted from corrosion, and I could keep the inner bearing from getting screwed season after season!

I carefully installed new bearings, packed 'em FULL with grease, and sold the truck at the beginning of a nice dry Summer. I told the guy I sold it to that the spindles were going through bearings more often than they should, but he told me he knew, and he could fix it right. I didn't argue with him. In fact, I decided it was a good excuse for me to get a 4x4.

I pulled my d-side one off a while back to pull the fender so I could do some body work on it (dropped a tree on it, ouch!) and man the rear fender area it hides was packed with several pounds of mud! Full up to at least 10" from the bottom. It might be a good idea to pull the guards off every year or so and hose that area out. I need to check the passenger side, as I've never had it off.
