Reunited after 27 years

In 1980 I bought a new Toyota 4wd Sport truck but sold it three years later when my first child was born. I loved the truck but needed something better suited to carry around the three of us. This summer I came across this beautiful 1980 4wd Sport truck with only 47k miles on it. The original owner had died suddenly and his widow had it up for sale. It was a very sad story but a nonetheless a reunion for my wife and me.
I have never seen one of these trucks so well kept in original condition. The original owner documented every tank of gas, oil change, lube job, tire rotation, hub lock engagement, spark plug change, you name it. He calculated the gas mileage at every fill up for 29 years. He saved the original window sticker, bill of sale, and vehicle order paperwork. When he wasn't driving it he kept it covered in his garage. Hopefully the photos will post.
Cheers

It's about time you post pics of your truck! Awesome! How much did you fork out for it if you don't mind me asking?

The paint and decals are all original. When I bought the truck it had a roll bar that had been installed in '80 along with a custom made snap on bed cover. I had the roll bar powdercoated and have since reinstalled it along with the cover. I really had a hard time deciding which way to go but I'm glad it looks like how the original owner configured it. When the rain/sleet/snow event stops here I'll post some photos of how it looks now. Still looks very 1980. And yes I'll keep it that way 'cause I know what I got.

Heading out of town for the Holidays but I snapped these from inside the garage. This is the custom made bed cover that was made for the truck by an awning company in 1980 for $149 according to the receipt. I had the roll bar powder coated by a local guy. The interior is stock and the seat was covered for the last 30 years which is why it is in such great condition. The driver's side vinyl has cracked in a couple of places so I'm trying to decide what to do with it. Thanks for all of the great comments and thanks to YotaTech for the education and entertainment that it provides.
