I got the new 260 comp cam in my truck with the .440 lift on int and ex. You need new valve springs for these things. So far i Really like the cam and it makes decent power off the line to 2500rpm, more than stock as far as i can tell. But then at about 3000-5000 it really starts to make a difference.
If you have the money port match your intake Man to head, Then do a good port job on all the intake and exhaust runners and a good valve job. A weber, good head&cam, and header&exhaust should make a decent upgrade, just dont cheap out on parts like cheap timing chains and bearings.
