I do not think it is lifted. Here is my friends old 83 and it was not lifted.
But his front springs were shot so the front saged some.

nope its not lifted..the back looks like it has new stock replacement springs..and the front has the stockers..mine are fairly new.(within 10 yrs old) on my '80..my fronts are FAR from being straight...they still have quite an arch in them, and they are stock height..of course mine sits more level than that..lol..i'd adress that front sag issue with like a 2" over stock lift spring..or a new stock one..maybe with a small shackle..

Doesn't look lifted to me either. Someone could have put another leaf in the back or something, but more likely it's just never carried heavy cargo, so the front's sagged a bit under the weight of the engine, and not the rear.

For EFI (and I'm only talking from what I've read online; never done it), you need the entire engine, wiring harness, computer, fuel tank...maybe some other stuff? The EFI is a mechanical fuel pump at (or in?) the gas tank, and our engines have a mechanical fuel pump up on the head of the engine. So yeah, you need the tank and possibly the fuel lines too. Pretty much anything that in some way attaches to the engine, other than the transmission.

I've got an engine, wiring harness and ecu. I'm pretty sure I need the fuel lines as well as the tank. I'm just waiting untill the holidays and my month off work are done to order some parts for it from LCE. It's gonna be rebuilt and I'm gonna put some performance parts in it.

The front springs are worn out so rather than replace them I'm just going to wait untill I order the marlin lift kit for it. That'll come in spring sometime along with tires, gears and arb's. Untill then I'm going to clean the interior and wiring up, get it painted and save some money for when the expensive stuff starts.

Sweet lookin truck. Will be rad with new paint. My vote would go for an original-looking toyota colour. But that would be tricky if you are just gonna paint it yourself. Anyway, sweet truck! Make sure to keep us updated with pics!

I'd need one from a 22RE... I think I'm going to do a 3.4 swap anyways I have to do some research first though.

That's actually an '85 FSM, no such thing as a '79-85 FSM. But you can't find an online version of anything prior to 85, which is why he's talking about scanning his someday. The '85 FSM works for about 80-90% of our trucks, but there are some things that are different. It's a really good start though, and much better than a Haynes or Chiltons.
