Goin' to pick it up tonight, finally. I've owned it for over a month now and It's taken this long to order parts then get it into the shop because I work in the isolated northern part of my province for a week at a time. More pics coming right away I'm going to sand and re-prime some of the surface rust then get it painted right away.

The front leafs are a little worn too, when I go to the junkyard what else can I pull springs off of to remedy it untill a proper kit is ordered?

Didn't get it AGAIN today, the shop didn't get to it... they've told me that for 3 days and said Friday at the latest. I'm getting really impatient there's snow on the ground and my girlfriend takes the 4runner to work, I'm stuck with a cavalier

Got a second engine, brand new head and completely upgraded brand new top end. Gonna rebuild it with performance parts and put it in. The 22r in it was just rebuilt 3k ago, still don't know what I'm doing with that.

So for my efi swap what year 22re should I take parts from? I need the efi parts off the engine, fuel pump and wiring harness? Do I need fuel lines and a different tank?

I'm going to build the new engine as a 22re before it goes in.

New Pics

Got some new pics today:

Interior needs a good cleaning and some work:

Frame and axles are in PERFECT condition and rust protected:

Gonna start work on it as soon as the interior is done and I deal with the e-brake and front driveshaft.

Does it look lifted to anyone? The rear sits higher than the front so I need to address that, maybe I'll leave it that way untill I lift it.

It's got it's own problems, the interior needs a lot of work but I did get pretty lucky.

just seafoamed it, made a little differencein the idle but it made a big differnece starting. It wouldn't turn over very fast and had a hard time when it's colder. Bought a new battery, that didn't help but now it seems like it spins more freely and faster.

it's definately lifted, 2 inches or so. it's obvious in the rear, but not sure on the front. many times aftermarket springs will have a brand name on them, but it looks like they may have been painted.
