I don't know the history on your truck or what, but IIRC, that's a 2wd oil pan. my 4wd pan is about 2" deep and flat from the oil pump all the way back to between cyl 3 and 4 and then comes straight down about 7" for a short, deep sump and uses a different pick up tube than the 2wd.

truck is coming along nicely... got a new top for her off a trekker and also a smitty built bumper but deciede against the bumper but it was all free... took her on a 400 mile round trip and new missed a beat she worked flawlessly I went to jims yota yard and got some goodies... got an SR5 gauge cluster and grille/bezels& light bucket and she has round eyes again... also ordered some 5" shackles from marlin F/R to gain a lil more travel/.5" height I want to do a drop hanger to move my axle forward .5-1" but not sure how comfortable I am trying to weld it on... so after that all gets here I then want to raise my motor 1-2" to clear a tie rod for high steer and raise the tranny 1" to kind of realign things... want to keep her as low as possible and look stock (sleeper look) and thern lockers and winch...

is a V6 lock rite locker worth $230 or should I spend the $290 for the V6 aussie?

I want to do a lunch box locker in the rear for now till I can save for a grizly and then move the lunch box to the front and the grizly in the rear or spool the rear and still use a lunch box up front selectables would be awesome but both require more than I wan to do or spend so auto locker are fine by me I use to run spools front and rear and it never bothered me

Ive got V6 3rds which makes things a lil more pricey...

Ive found the aussie for $289 thru aussielocker.com
and the lock rite for $232 thru lowrangoffroad.com

I have heard stories about guys blowing up lock rites in 4cyl but never in V6 and have never heard of an aussie grenading but the carrier has in both cases with both lockers

I'd go with the Aussie. I'm going to once I get to a place to where I can mod again instead of fix.

For as much as you drive this why would you spool the rear? Just chew the hell outta the tires. Just me talking.

I'm liking the hood pins! My latch sticks open I have to use a screwdriver to push the lock back into place. Instead of fixing I might do the pin thing...

Good score on the trekker topper!!!

right now Im all talk about lockers, Im getting anxious about wheeling this summer... Ill most likely spend the money on a winch and call it good for this year and then start saving for E-lockers for next season... and do everything right from the start rather than wasting money just cuz I can

and thanks for the compliments

did the hood pins cuz I got sick of the latch rattleing around and not always opening...

I read somewhere on here to buy or make a reinforcement plate for the front of the frame and weld nuts to the back of it in the same pattern as the winch Plate of your choice.
