My frame is full of sand?!

So, randomly poking around on Trekker today, and stick my finger in one of the holes in the frame. I notice a bunch of sand, basically up to the hole. Then it all comes back; when I took out my transmission cross support, there was a bunch of dirt which came out of some of the bolt holes in the frame. I figured it was just residual and didn't think more about it, being in a rush.

No idea how this could have come to be, but the one side of my frame is full of sand.

So now, what to do?

Drill holes in the bottom of the frame, flush, and weld on cover/support plates?

Turn the truck on it's side and flush with water?

This one makes my brain hurt.

I would try blowing it out with compressed air first, cover up any unneeded holes to increase pressure.....you'll need to get creative with duct tape....

Compressed air will get most of it out... I don't know that there is a way to get it all out.

A flexable hose type tip on the end will help to get in those tight spots...I would stay away from water as wet sand takes forever to dry and creates conditions that rust just loves...
