my 82 toy

This should have been done all thru the build up but i was too lazy to do so.

heres is what has happened in the last few months

Friend picked up 82 short bed from Original owner with 171k I then got it from him and we went to town on it

22r strong as hell
Optima red top
LC vented disc up front
Wide track rear axle
aussie locker front
welded rear
4.10's (5.29 third sitting in garage)
35 BFG M/T
14'' Bilsteins in the rear (with custom crossmember)

Waiting on Hy-steer and front shocks, im going with 12'' bils. Right now i take it a lil easy i have no power steering or shocks so its ruff. Im looking to some new spring in the front to get my axle forward, i dont know if i want to run rears up front they might be a lil to soft for me we will see tho.

Poser Pics

thanx...the welded rear isnt to bad...i get a lil wobbile cause my tie rod is bent to ÅÅÅÅ in the front so i might not be able to really feel anything the diff is doing. I could compare it to a car that has a clutch type LSD.

Looks good, sort of makes me want to build up one, maybe one of these days after I sell off a few incomplete projects...

i like the 22r alot better than my past 22re motors. One reason is cause it runs like a rapped ape and is the best runing motor ive ever had in a toyota.

The carb is stock and opperates at angels really well.
