Really nice truck. I agree with most of the replies, the 1979-1983 4x4 shortbed trucks are the best looking and I believe they will always look good just like 32 Fords, 49-50 Mercurys and 39-40 Ford Coupes.

Thats a nice looking rig, but that doesn't look like any eastern Oregon I've ever seen. I thought you guys just had tumble weeds and sage brush, but that yard looks like it's got cypress, plum and green grass. What's the deal? You get the sun and the green too? Why am I still here on the west side?

Nice old truck. I'd like a short box one day.

Dang, nice looking pickup, VERY clean! My 82 is almost the same pickup, short bed at least but not anywhere near as clean. Dents and rust on the bed, go figure. Haha Sick truck though.

I like it. I wish my '80 was that clean, but someday it definitely will be. My favorite trucks were the round headlight models followed closely by your body style. That tie down system made it wonderfully convenient to secure big loads. My '80 as well as my buddy's '81 1L truck both have 3 tie downs on each side.

goofy about the hooks. I've got a short bed with 2 on each side. Weird. I'm in the process of making mine to be (sorta)like yours, Thanks for the inspiration!

My shortbed only has two on each side also. A third would be nice.
