L series transmission clutch fork/throw out bearing question

I have a 79 Toyota that had the original 4 speed l43 transmission & 20r , I have just built a 22r and acquired a 5 speed l series transmission , I am unsure what state it's in or at this point what trans it is l50 or l52. It did not come with a clutch fork or release bearing to reference..

Will the clutch fork , and throw out bearing , adjustable rod from slave to fork work from the 79 l43 ? It's a cast fork..

I also have a clutch fork (forged steel) & pilot bearing , non adjustable rod from a 1984 pickup g52 trans .

What should I do, unsure what fork I should use...

forks are interchangable .. you just need to reuse the hub for the throw out bearing and the clips for the 79 (you need to find this) . Pilot bearings are the same .
adjustable slave cyl is also used in this scenero

a little L-Series transmission trivia

Top one might be an L-50, will have to check with TrekkerPaul, gave it to him for scrap...bearings etc are shot to crap
bottom one is an L-52 based on this tidbit:

If so then it's a L52. It is a small 1/8" or 1/4" hole (I don't know the actual size) and it's positioned on the machined release bearing section of the nose cone straight down at 6 o'clock. Marlin said he'll simply reach into the bellhousing and grab the nose cone, and immediately he'll know if it's a L50 or L52 if he feels that hole or not.

That is much better than removing the nose cone, so definitely cool, thanks Marlin!

now this is where I thought things were a little wierd. I got to thinking I might as well put in a new throw out bearing in before I swapped transmissions.
here is what I found:
bottom: L43 (out of an '80) throw out bearing and pivot -heavy duty cast piece
middle: L50? (came out of my '81 originally) stamped pivot
top: L52 bearing and stamped pivot (lack of a better term)

this is what I found an interesting bit of trivia- the ears that hold the bearing to the pivot are all different shapes and sizes..
bottom-L43 long and tapered mounts for the clips:
middle= L50 wide and long mounts for the clips
top L-52 wide narrow:

left is L52, Middle L50(?) with a lip for the bearing to mount on, right L43:

does this make a bit of difference on the throw out bearings...dunno, just thought i would throw out what I found...
I am using the bearing thing with the lip on it...
by the way, I am gonna invest in a press sometime..getting bearings off is a PITA

I'm highly confused I have the same problem can I use my clutch fork from my L43 on my L52 and just change the carrier? Or am I looking at find a L52 fork? Are any other years compatible?

I'm gonna try and call marlin or get on there forum but I think what you have just has to match your throwout bearing collar

Thanks man! Will I have to do any modifications to make it work? Also I'm using this l52 on a 20r which should be the same process but I'm not positive.

Catfish thanks man I'm really looking forward to meeting up and putting this thing in if I skip out on college we should get something going in Louisiana where people get together and fix and wheel although I personally am more into light wheeling
