Horse Collar?

So I was working on the truck and poking around a bit today when I found that the horse collar cross member is a lil soft in 1 or 2 spots.
The frame on the truck really isn't bad and I'll have it all fixed in about 2 weeks, however, what's the best way to fix the horse collar cross member?

I was thinking about hacking it out and replacing it with some 1/8" thick box tube. I'll lift the back of the cab up a bit to do it.

There are a bunch of ways to go about. One is to buy a whole new crossmember: http://4xinnovations.com/pages/drive/crossmembers.htm

Or just hack up the stock one and rebuild it:

I don't know. I just remembered coming across that website before so I googled "toyota horse collar crossmember" and found it again. If it doesn't fit exactly, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to modify.

you can call them and ask they bend the tube so I bet it would not be to hard for them to make a little adjustment for yours if it is not the same

I sent an e-mail.
If it won't fit I'm sure I can get one made locally.
