Is the hood, front bumper & seats interchangeable between 82 & 84 Toy pickup trucks?
Does anyone know if the hood, front bumper, and seats are interchangeable between a 1982 Toyota pickup truck and a 1984 Toyota pickup truck?
Thanks

not direct bolt in, but you can make the seats work.
If you aren't doing a bench seat swap I would not use the stock '84 seats I would do a set of early 90's acura integra seats..I love my Prelude seats...way more comfy than factory toyota seats IMO...well my '05 Taco seats were nice

you can get more comfortable seats, a newer yota or something else. my 88 seats are the most comfortable imo.
i put mid 80's z28 seats in my 79 with stock yota brackets.
slacker can hook you up with a glass hood if you can't find a used one. i like hannemann glass as well.

Sorry I didn't mention this before but these are buckets seats for both vehicles.
Will early 90's Acura seats fit in an 82 Toyota truck without modification?
Regarding the glass hood... Is "slacker" the username for someone on this forum?
Thanks

not even a 2nd gen (and above) seat will be a direct bolt in mod.
Early 90's Acura Integra and Honda Civic seats work great in a 1st Gen truck.

These things are great, there is a second hole about 1.25" over from the stock front outside mounting hole that lined up just about right, enlarged it just a hair and was able to use the inside front stock mount:

just had to cut off about the lower .25" or so of the stock bracket to allow it to sit flat on the floor.
I think that being able to use the stock front holes makes the install much more stable and install went very fast...
outside rear mount came up with something similar to WSUWeston's brackets:

the inside rear mount just needs a hole drilled in the floor

I finally got the two motorhomes parked in the same place and found out that the one that says its an 84 on the paperwork is actually an 83 which means the body parts are compatible with my 82. This is awesome because I was able to swap the hoods, front bumpers, side mirrors (and probably the seats next). I'm also swapping the rear axles between them this week too. Bottom line: This super cheapo "84" I scored will net me about $1400 in free parts by the time I'm done with it.
