Here are some basic pics of my 82

82 Toyota 22R 197k original miles.
Everything is stock on it besides the tires and carb. Just replaced O2 sensor today so I should be able to pass smog. I just recently had to do a head gasket on it but besides that it runs good. Still plenty of work to be done tho. Looking at some nice rock crawler rims tomorrow. Should be sweet. Now I just need to get a 4" lift on her and some swampers then its off to the seirras. Prob. do Rubicon since its easy to start then head up to do devils doorstep later this summer.

I have the set up still sitting on the floor of my garage waiting for warmer weather. So yes, but no. Definitely was a workout for the first couple weeks but then I got stronger.

Nice! Somebody must have really wanted it to be like an '82-83, or found a good parts truck to strip. That thing totally looks like an '82-83, plus the 22R and 5 speed.

Good find!

I think they used the hood, also because the stickers say 22r on it and the inner fender tag says 20r, also the fenders, inside door metal tag has build date of 11/79 and registration/title has 80. so they must have had a parts truck to use. Just ordered a new headlight bucket. and then its going for the matched paint look in a week or so.
