I think people who junk stuff should be banned from this forum. You're not a fan of toyotas if you want to just throw them away. If I were you I'd put a couple ads up on CL to trade for a 4runner. If I ever decide I don't want my 4runner anymore that's what I'm doing. 1st gens are pretty coveted it shouldn't be TOO difficult to trade for a 4runner.

I suggeted earlier for people to just start posting everyday things in use of your truck. So for me I build and show custom bikes (bicycles). I brought two of my bikes to a show this past Saturday in Pacific Beach, San Diego. Hot Rods, art, bikes, music, food... Great times! Rollin' through the beach areas with two show bikes in the back of an 80's Yota sure can draw some attention.

oh... and that second pic isn't at the beach, but a stop at the gas station on the way.

I work outside usually, so he rather come along and hang out than sit alone at home.

I've got one in my yard that the PO cut the flares off to xlear 38s. It really ruins the look in my opinion. But you should be legal if you still cover your tires. If you were close I'd trade you fenders. I can snap a photo if you want to see what it looks like.

In Washington your tires can only stick out 3 inches so if you remove the flares you might be screwed depending on how wide your tires are and if you have spacers.

Instead of cutting up a good set of fenders put on a set of 2WD fenders so you have an option to put them back on..

I put the 35s on and they fit with the fenders so I don't think I'm going to need to cut them. Thank you the advice it really helps and I'm in Snohomish

It's of course up to you, and what you like.

For me, if my truck had its fenders cut off, I'm not sure I would even want it anymore...The fenders are a huge part of why it looks the way it looks.

But that's me!
