Cool thx 94

So here's where I am right now: I have confirmed I have the following wire colors into the harness...
  • White
  • Black / Red
  • Red / Blue
Comparing the 83 FSM (with the blurry page 1 pic lol) to the "typical early wiring diagram" in my Haynes manual, it looks like I found a match for the circuits, at least in terms of draw:
  • Red FL (50amp) --------------> White wire ----------------> Alternator / Heater etc...
  • Green FL (40amp) ----------> Black / Red wire --------> Ign. Switch etc...
  • Green FL (40amp) ----------> Red / Blue wire ---------> Headlight relay
Which are the same values Lon mentioned a few posts back.
Thx for the help you guys.

I can't get a clear enough copy from my scanner and print, but I could send you a copy..PM me your mailing info. I'll try some other ways to make a copy that I can be upload and printed, for future reference

Maybe these can help. they maybe download and printed, just don't know how clear they will be on your end, with software used. The dotted lines are for diesel only

Thanks Lon - I downloaded them and are a bit fuzzy to read but I appreciate it. No worries - I got the fusible links figured out. Had to order them from Napa but they came in the same day. Headlights are working!

Photo bucket sucks! Use the file or photo attachment options and you will have better results. As a bonus side effect the files are hosted on yotatech servers and can't be easily lost.
