FIXED!! it was the slave cylinder! one of those rare cases I guess whhhere no leaking was present but the piston just was not coming out and retracting right, very weak! so we put a new slave and clutch master in! brand new fresh fluid and it is noise free!!! master cyl, slave and fluid...grand total: 24 dollars. hooked up on good pricing. thanks for all the replies!

Hey 95, would you look a this and tell me if that's the same as your truck? We decided in this thread that it's likely normal, but maybe not? I guess I need somebody to push in the pedal, instead of me pushing the fork a direction it normally wouldn't go from under the truck?

I already ordered my t-case rebuild kit so I'm going to do that either way, but if I put it all back together and my noise is still there, I'll try this before I blame the tranny and push the truck off a cliff

Alright, I'll look into it. It's pretty much brand new...but that doesn't mean anything. I'll have somebody actually push the clutch pedal and see how it responds first, but I may end up replacing the cylinder again. Thanks.

yeah it could be defective. my stock one would hold tight sometimes then release causing no tension and a wiggling fork
