Heater back plate

Pretty dumb question but I can't seem to find a way to glue this thing. I used crazy glue I can't get the back side to stick since the back isn't really in contact with the plate. Se pic

What year ??

It has been awhile but I thought that plate had 3 screws going through it.

82 SR5. No screws, I'm guessing it was just glued on?...not really sure.

Is it possible to put pressure on the plate while it dries to hold it in place.

I just love that plastic weld epoxy.
