Happy Holidays Fellas.
Hey guys, I just wanted to wish all of ya the best during the holidays. I hope that all of you enjoy the time you get to spend with your family and loved ones and you are embraced by the true spirit of Christmas.
This will be my first Christmas without my father. He passed away on August 11, just a few days after my 28th birthday on August 6. It has been a rough couple of months, and not a day goes by that I don't think of him. To be honest, I hope that day never does come. My father did 4 tours of vietnam, where he did LRRP (Long Range Recon Patorl) and Sniper and they said that he died of Agent Orange .. After he lived through 2 open heart surgeries and he battled with cancer and won.. We thought he was done fighting...Nothing could stop him.
Anyways. im getting off track...
I just want ya fellas to know that I really appreciate the help, advice and tips that we have all be able to share this far. When I wake up in the morning this website is the first thing that I check. I love the articles, I love the atmosphere, I love Yotatech. I had to find something to ease my mind, I had been down in a rut for a while. I didn't eat much, I stayed at home for nearly 2 months straight.. I'm one ugly mofo with a beard.. I look like a beanpole with the mange. Then I found this place and I started talking, and getting active and reading and reading and reading and sleeping on the keyboard and reading and reading and reading..
I guess for that short time that I stayed on here it made my mind wonder, I kind of got a feeling for some of the fellas of what it's like to be in someone else's shoes. I wold imagine wheeling with some of the rigs and meeting some of you fellas. I would read the articles and my imagination would start running wild, full of the ideas and dreams of what I wanted to do my truck..
For that I thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Sincerely,
Stephen Cooper

I hear you. I've had some pretty simple things help me through tough times. Just takes a couple nice people to talk to, even if you don't even bring up what's bothering you.
This site is great. Very tolerant of stupid questions (believe me I know), and a lot of nice people. My truck would not be running, I probably wouldn't even own it anymore, without the help I got on this site.
Happy Holidays!

Scooper,
Sorry for you loss. I know what it is like to have gone through a rough time to the point of depression and the need for something to keep me busy. I'm glad you found it here on Yotatech. It is wonderful to see there are good people who like to help.
