Hi all, i've been a member for a while, looking for the nicest truck I could find. All the resources here have been great - thanks for the help! I thought i'd share my truck with you. its not perfect, but wont take much to put right.

The oil pan seal and oil pump o ring needed changing, which was straightforward - next job is the floor, the only part of the truck which really needs help. The rust is confined to where the front mud flaps were.

It has been repainted and the bed has had a patch over the driver side wheel arch, but all in all i'm really happy with it! - original owner had it until last year - 118K miles....

the rust under the DS Floorboad is very common. might want to make sure your windshiild is not leaking...

 

now that is a rig to be proud of, there is something about them first gens that are just plain cool.. and its getting very hard to find one that is in that nice of shape.
