Well auction the tailgate, only fair way other than giving it to me since I asked first lol.

 

naaaa, im just bugging you AP4CHE, i dont really want it.....its not the one i want, i want the one with the 2 latches on the side

 

And I only kind of want it...mine works, it's just seeming like it's not going to work for long. I'd like to replace it someday but it's not high on my priority list.

I can sell the tailgate. And if I sell the truck it doe's not need to come with a tailgate.

And now that I know so many people want it. I think it would only be fair to auction it off.


Edit: The tailgate works 100%. But it has a little rust near the top. (the truck lived near the ocean for a few years before I bought it.

I would like $1,500 for it.

One of my friends sold his 83 for 900. And it needed tires,head gasket,transmission,bed,paint So I think this is a fair price.

 

Yeah I bought mine for $1500, recent rebuild, needed a flywheel had no tailgate and the heater controls are messed up(still works).

 

That how munch friend said he bought his 83 for.
from what I know about.

He got from the first owner in 06. That bought it new in 83.
It had ever option but a/c. And it was 100% stock.
And it had some rust. Because it lived near the ocean all it's life.
But I still think he got a hell of deal.
