I have a 1980 4x4 and the dash lights dont work and the blower motor doesnt work. I checked the fuses and they look fine

 

First check the dimmer switch operation on the left side of the dash, then pull the gauge pod and check the bulbs and the condition of the bulb holders. Next check the circuit ribbon condition for corrosion or damage. If you see any corrosion around the circuit ribbons try to clean it off with CRC Electrical contact cleaner. Check your wiring at the gauge pod plugs for damage. If you have a tilt wheel, they are famous for causing broken wires so check for damaged wires going in the tilt steering area.

 

I got the dash lights working. It was the dimmer I cleaned it up and they work now. Thanks for the help.
