Cluster swap from different rigs
Has anyone done a gauge cluster swap? I was think make from a 88-91 civic or crx. I hate how the stock cluster done have great back lighting.

You are wanting to put a cluster in from a Honda? Anything is possible I guess, I would go with aftermarket VDO gauges or something first before I did all that work for a Honda cluster.

Definitely possible...there are 20-some wires that plug in back there. You'd need the wiring schematic from the Honda, and for your truck. Between that, some cutting of the dash to make it fit, and mods to where you screw it in, and a bunch of trail and error, you could have a working cluster.
Like James said, it's possible, but there are probably easier ways to get good backlighting.
