Hey all, did a quick search but didn't come up with anything on this. Are there any differences between first and second gen long bed dimensions?

Hey Marc,
I measured the inside dimension (length only) on my 83 SR5 long bed, and it was about 7 feet and 2 inches. I'll check that tonight, and get top surface internal dimensions side to side as well.

 

Thanks 83, but you don't need to do that. I apologize, I should've been more clear in my original post. I'm looking for a cab-high shell for my '83 long bed, and found one (I think), but its on a reg cab, long bed 2nd gen pick up. Just wondering if it would fit.
