83 Sr5, where does this wire go?

Looked thru all my diagrams, what does this wire connect to?
Thick black w yellow trace, white wire other side of connector.
Passenger side fenderwell, 83 4wd sr5.

thought about your PM for a bit ...
depending on your vehicle spec. might be the fuel heater in the bottom of the intake manifold ...

hmmm i didnt see any black-yellow wire that connects to a solid white wire on my 82. not sure what its for. i'll try and get a better look at it next week if you still need to know.

Not what you want to hear, but there's GOT to be some connectors in the engine compartment that aren't hooked up to anything right now that you can find...that ought to get you started. If I find the time and remember, I'll check my truck out today. Not an SR5, but I doubt I'd be missing that many connectors on the pass side with a base model. They weren't that different back then.

there is also the anti deiseling selenoid on the carb .. I believe it has that connector

Ok I have the exact same truck...found that exact wire in your pic. It goes connected under your intake. I took some pics just trying to upload hold on a sec

The last pic is from the underside. You can see the white white in two places. The top one is where it connects to the bottom of your intake.

thanks for the replies,

Truck is not running the stock manifold, and the damn wire was just hanging there. Im chasing down some wiring problems to get this thing back on the road.

If you're not running the stock manifold then you probably don't need to worry bout it. Unless your current manifold has a place to hook up this particular wire.
