83 brake problem

83 brake problem

i have an 83 4x4 and am having serious issues with braking pull i think its my proportional valve ive been looking for a replacement but no luck is there anyone here that can help with my delima ive read around and saw where people took it out but im not sure how they accomplished this any help is better than no help thanks, brian

break "pull" usually means a siezed front caliper
maybe elaborate on exactly what the symptoms are .

as far as swapping out to a manual prop. valve .. it's fairly easy to do so

Generaly unless that valve is leaking it does not usually give any trouble.... Where is it pulling? How is it pulling? When is it pulling? Have you removed wheels to "inspect" brakes?

Rear 4x4 brake proportional valves are still available from Toyota.
