82 motor mounts

So which after market supplier makes a good pair of motor mounts. I just called 22re performance and he has no clue except some will not fit at all. Even though the aftermarket suppliers are selling them. Any help appreciated.

After checking these 3 suppliers boy what a price difference. Are the OEM mounts that much better? Seems cost prohibitive to me. A set of Beck Arnely should do it where I can purchase 2 cheaper than one OEM.

I've had pretty good luck with the Anchor brand mounts. They seem to be pretty well made.

Be aware of which mounts are on your truck now. My 1982 4x4 (Build date June 1982) had the earlier style mounts. They are not compatible with the "newer" style mounts.

In my case, Anchor listed part number 8162 as the correct replacement for my year, but that was incorrect. It was too wide and the holes didn't match up on my truck.

I had to use the earlier part number, 2407.

They seem like they're decent quality!

Thanks.
I would guess mine are the early type as my 82 build date is Sept 81. I have ordered mounts too, probably will have to return them.

Mount

Can anyone tell by looking at this picture if it is in fact an early type mount that is needed?

I called LCE today as their mounts don't fit. Bolt holes too far apart. I'll see if I can get the Anchor brand with the 2407 part#. Here is a picture of the LCE mounts. Very nice mounts just don't fit.

I found the Anchor brand and correct part number at Advance Auto parts if anyone else needs 2. They get 12 each for them.
