Unhappy Rockstomper Motor Mounts

I've been debating whether or not to replace my motor mounts before the motor goes back in.... I've looked into some from AutoZone and they wanted about $50 a side. I just noticed Rockstomper sold some but I'm not very impressed with their business ethics or products (see thread here). They sound stronger and cheaper than the AutoZone Mounts and I'm ok with the added vibration, but will they work?

Thanks.
Steve

From what I understand the rockstomper mounts vibrate pretty bad. I went with NAPA mounts but they are about the same price as autozone.

Bummer, if it's really bad I wouldn't do it... I really don't want to pay $100 for motor mounts. I guess I'll just wait until one or both break and then replace them.

Does anyone else make one? I've heard some horror stories about poly mounts (I think from Roger Browns Site) so I don't think I'll run those. Anybody work a stealership and want to get me (and anyone else that needs motor mounts) a discount?

Scott is a perfectly all right guy in my dealings with him. I just placed an order this afternoon and got through on the first call.

The problem with his is not they vibrate too much, but that they trasmit most of the vibration.

I ended up just using the ones that were on the truck when I got it. If I break them, then I'll contact Scott. Thanks for the contact!
