Hey everyone,

Took the truck wheelin last night and now i am getting a rattle from the dual cases. Noticed that the front driveline is still spinning in 2wd. Anyone know how to fix this issue? the rattle becomes louder the faster you drive. It has trail gear dual cases, 2.28 in the front and twin stick 4.7 in the back.

 

i know you probably know this but are your front hubs dis-engaged completely? If not everything up front will still be moving. if they are manual and both unlocked, I would then confirm they are really letting go when you dis-engage them. Let us know.

 

those manual hubs cam get snotted up inside and not slide in and out of engagement. springs could be broken inside as well.

 

X2, raise the front end (both tires) and spin tire by hand as you watch drive shaft.

Might be time to source a 54mm socket.
