I just put a new 20 r motor in my pickup and got a flow master exhaust put on and installed the weber carb I have lots of power in first second and third but when I shift into fourth I don't feel like I have a lot of power I can't go uphill in fourth at all really and even on a flat it doesn't accelerate very much so I thought it could be that it's not advancing but I don't know I really need some help

 

the vaccum advances are famous for going out.


Everything in tune? plugs...wires...cap...rotor?

Check timing?

 

Doesn't sound like the tranny to me.

 

What size tires?
