update on my truck, i just sold my '91 and am now driving the '79. so far i have only done a basic tune up and changed the tranny fluid. and its going good. this weekend i am picking up an entire mint cab for parts, going to use the doors and fenders right now and swap cabs at a later date.

i should have some pictures of some progress by the weekend

another update. i decided that i had no place to store a cab so did the swap last weekend, at the same time as the transmission. all went well except i still need to get some wiring parts and finish putting the rest of the truck back together

after taking my 4 speed apart i found my tranny issue, there were 15 teeth missing from one gear, i found 9 of them sitting at the bottom and the rest were in kind of a paste that had gatherd around the drain hole.

]
before shot

with the cab off

our supervisor

i think i found my exhaust leak

my old transmission, can you spot the missing teeth?

this is how it sits now, still waiting for some parts but i should be done this weekend
