Great idea............
I'd post a couple photos showing the finished product with the transmitter button location as well as how it would sit in an actual ignition either extended straight out or turned down. As all ready mentioned, I believe your best seller would be mulitple key in one housing. Many of us are 2car families and would find that option useful.
Lastly, being a visual consumer myself, IMO finished photos would help push any fence riders into buyers
Congrats on your venture !
Regards.......8sm

And alot of people are showing interest in the 2 key idea. Once we get the key-knife going now, were going to start working on a multi-tool version that will have multiple keys.

If anyone wants one, we may be able to do a group buy on Yotatech. Spread the word guys, get 10 people wanting to buy one, and we'll give you a discount on them
Lets get the idea out there!

Silver & Blue. We had red, but there was a shipping problem and we didn't get the parts :/
But i was thinking, how hard is it to either spray paint, or powder coat the frames to any color? Then we could offer a whole spectrum of colors.

Powder coat would probably be the better option from a durability stand point...
You'd have to talk to a powder coat co.... only problem I can see potentially coming up is the thickness of the coating interfering with the fit of the parts...
I recall an old American Chopper episode where they got parts back from coating and had to redrill and paint the bolt holes because the powder coat was a few 1000ths too thick.
btw can you post a pic of the blue one as well?

Spray paint has gotten really good over the years, but i agree powder coating is WAY better.
That would not be good. If its just the frame though, it shouldn't affect the springs too much? But i also think that would cost a lot. Were doing this on a pretty small budget, with already slim profit margins so that may be an idea for the future too.

For all who said they want one, now is the time! Fill out the following, and email it to me at KeyKnife@aol.com
Prices are 30.00 for a blank key-knife
Or 25 if you send in a key and we use that to make it.
Were working on full color schemes so if there is a color you'd like mark it and we will see if we can do it
