Want to sell 1985 4Runner, 22RE, 5 speed, Super Swamper 31 x 12.5 tires (fair to good cond.), trail gear dirty 30 axles, budbilt skid, New Marlin HD clutch, fresh redline synthetic gear oil in tranny, new Marlin shifter bushing, landcruiser front disc brake upgraded by former owner, SS brake lines in the front & one for the back that's not installed yet, Bobby longs lifetime wiper seals, trail gear front & rear tubular bumpers, new Smittybilt XRC8 winch with a Warn Hawse fairlead, extra roller fairlead (new unused), D-Ring stinger in front bumper, new Die Hard Platinum, spooled rear etc.

It needs the starter rebuilt, needs new timing set (guide, chain...you know the drill), needs some brake work still (previous owner did a poor job), the headlight switch has an intermittent short & other odds & ends - it is an 85.

This vehicle runs & drives, four wheel drive works, winch is new & has never been used for recovery. It does have too much blowby on the PCV & a mechanic told me to replace the rubber hoses & clean the carbon out from under the EFI plenum & it would be ok.....I don't know if that's what it is or not ymmv The truck is black primer, has a mild lift, aftermarket steelies.

There is a spare tranny with bad reverse & transfer case, the forward gears were smooth as butter in the spare & the transfer case works, the reverse went out on the truck immediately after I bought it so I put a used one in it & it's been fine & has approximately 1K miles on it since I put it in. (this truck was purchased from these classifieds from the buddy of a well known fellow from Alabama that's here on YT, he sold it for his buddy)

ALl things considered it's in pretty good shape but I would trailer it personally; I drove it from Alabama to Arkansas when I bought it in 2010 & have put around 3K on it since. If you want pictures I can provide them.

Asking $4,000 & I prefer all cash but will entertain offers including trades for pickup or certain other items I won't say because I don't want to violate the "no gun listing" policy even inadvertently, sale is due to a cheating wife & possible looming divorce, sale is also O.B.O. (but I won't give it away, I paid $4,500 & have put money in it myself. Frankly I don't really want to sell it but I need a pickup truck to move with post possible divorce)

It MIGHT be if there were no pictures but there are. If you read the ad it clearly states I will send any individual interested in it; pictures.

No I'm not. Why host images & go through the trouble when I can send the pics PTP via the great little phones that everyone has? My PC is old & doesn't link well with my phone; it's a hassle, I don't feel like screwing with it or uploading to photobucket or here. This is 2013, it shouldn't be an issue for someone interested to PM me their number for some pics; I know it's not since others have done it already.

If you're interested in the pics let me know. If you just want to bugger up my sell thread then go away.
