Yukon Grizzly Lockers
I ordered a pair of built diffs from Marlin this week. Having them put 5.29s and grizzly lockers. Does anyone have any useful info on these lockers?

yes i do... i just put them in my 94 4runner with 4.88s and i absolute love the locker!!!!!and the rear gearing makes it seem like u r driving a hole new truck but back to the locker it operates like it should has not let me down!!! around a sharp turn it clicks but not very loud( you can only hear it if ur out side the truck) and every now and then it will unlock or lock i am not sure with it is doing.... wile i am driving straight and who ever is in the passenger seat will look at me funny but from what i gather thats normal. needless to say it is awesome!

selectable locker up front is always better than an automatic locker up front IMO...
my locker pulls in 4WD...the selectable gives you the option of the open diff which is nice for the times when you need 4WD on a DD on snow covered roads, than off road when you are moving slower lock the front end..

It's a gaming name that I ended up using for everything because I like smokejumpers.
It's actually pretty rare that people even know what they are.
My army stint was as a reservist in an armoured regiment when there was still no budget in the Canadian armed forces.

Didn’t want to start a new post. Just installed a grizzly equipped 4cyl dif in yesterday only driven 30 miles. Breaking in new gears.
So so far I really like this locker. I ran an ARB and Lock-Right in rear. It’s operation is smooth. Few little quirks but far less intense than Lock-Right.

First lake effect snow of the year, light snow only 6-8”. Road crews initially had problems keeping up with the 1-1.5” an hour. Snow on roads had packed down to ice tracks and plenty slick. But enough of the weather. Grizzly’s smoothness carried over to the snow. I’ve driven a rear autolocker in the rear so knew to lock front hubs while cleaning snow off the rig, so 4wd is shift on fly. Rear has a tendency to want to come around with throttle when full locked. Easy fix drop in 4wd so front pulls and no fish tales. My front is locked with an Aussie so not a good idea to drive 4wd on hard ball. Just hit 500miles on dif setup.
