Question IROK vs. ROCKER

i have read all i can from many different sources and have arrived at two tires i think have what i am looking for in an all around trail tire.

i can't decied between the two and would appreciate any and all input.. any pictures or actual measurments would be great too.

the tires i've narrowed my decision down to are both an 8 ply bias tire:
  • PITBULL - ROCKER @ 37x13.50x17
  • INTERCO - IROK @ 37x14.00x17

This is a product review section.

If you had both and were telling which was better, that would be good.

If you had both and were saying they were the same, that would be good too.

Asking which tire people run in a section where people tell what they like to run, not so good.

I have not had experience with either tire, but I say go with IROK's (not radials). I have not heard much about the Rocker's, and I think they look sorta funny.

i agree.. but i think that is because they are new to off road market. imagine the first impressions a tire like the Super Swamper Bogger must have had when it initialy hit the sceen.

in my experience the pitbull lastsd longer, has WAY better road manners, and will do better in the mud (which isn't saying much becasue IROKS not made for mud). I havent seen them on rocks but have heard good things.

My friend had the pitbull rocker in a 37x13-15 and it measured out really true right at 37 and like 12.8 or something like that depending on rim of course.

they are a little more $$ but he has 25,000 on his and they still look really good so if i had the money for new tires those would be it!!

rockers. ran 37x13.5s on my 85. if you rotate them every 1000miles or so you can expect a pretty decent life span from them. they dig almost like boggers. and like it says on the sidewalls "tear-it-up technology"
