Consider yourself lucky!
The strange thing that I can't wrap my head around is that he made one and sent it to toona from this forum. Why do that and then screw me???? Was it a set-up to do one and then screw anyone else? I don't get it.....

Well, I just got a phone call from Jeff.
He apologized profusely. He is having major problems which he tried to explain to me. I won't go in to it on a public forum. He finally heard my phone messages today and called.
He is sending the top a week from Monday when he gets paid. I will keep y'all updated.
Thanks to everyone for their help and concerns...

"Major problems"
Yea i believe that. Funny how scammers always seem to have "major problems" until the police get contacted, then magically they have all the time in the world to call and fix the problem!
Problems or not, unless he was rendered deaf, blind, and unable to speak, there is simply no reason not to make a 5 minute phone call to explain the situation. Plain and simple.

It doesn't take the long to leave an email as well.

Careful now people on that coast are strange to say the least and speak a form of English that cannot be understood by most mortals...we generally leave them alone to do our commercial fishing and try not to make eye contact.

Does the tracking number actually check out? As in you can get on a website and see where it is?
Remember, be cautiously optomistic. Just because a box arrives at your house, doesn't mean its the right parts, or even quality parts. Thouroughly inspect the top.....from top to bottom, inside out and make sure EVERYTHING is there and in tip top shape.
