sent this dude some parts got stalled for about a week and a half then i got the "check is in the mail" well the check never showed and now i cant get a pm response.... guess i should have got paid upfront but i guess i'm just too trusting...

well all i sent him was a set of stock steering arms and a drop draglink for a grand total of 45 bucks.... believe me if it was a 1000 dollar supercharger i would have not sent it without dough in hand, but 45 bucks? i figure karma will get ya!!!! now who knows i could still recieve a check but i doubt it. i've sent two pm and still no response so i doubt i'll be getting paid.... 99% of the peeps i've dealt with on yotatech have been good folks this is the first time i've gotten burned but it will not change the way i do things...

 

I can see what your saying, you are honest and were expected the same in return. You are not the only one has believed in another and they never came through. I do wish someones words is as good as gold, but not in these days as I learned that the hard way MANY times.

If you were really cruel and still have his address, you could always mail a package to his house and hopefully he has a wife, inside put a nice letter and a pair of panties or something, eh I do not know.

That sucks you got screwed...One reason I like paypal, when you get the email that says you've got money, than I send it..My transactions on yotatech and ttora have gone well..

 

try to email him. If he hasn't logged on in awhile he may not have it set up to where he gets notified of a PM. I know mine is set up where I don't get an email saying I have a PM Hope it works out.

FYI: Mods can easily get the person's I.P., and name if the person logged in from home/etc. Even libraries now have to have both an I.D. and library card to use their computers since Sept 11, 2001 to follow in line with the Patriot Act.

 

I am curious if the mods have banned this member or if the member has any response?

However...if a member was ripping off others repeatedly, there would be a ban down the road.
If a member was banned outright for ripping someone off, that would sever their ties to communications here with the buyer/seller, and they might not be able to resolve their disputes.

Looks like this crook though is long gone.
