Trail Windrock Coal Creek compare with Tellico?
How good is Coal Creek Windrock ohv park in Tennessee compared with Upper Tellico? I was planning with our 4x4 group call Veneyotas 4x4 from Washington DC area on April 17 to 19th to go to Tellico, but after i've made a phone call to the Rangers office, they said that Tellico could be closed this year, please call back before come in April, they said!! Bumm.!
So if anybody knows Windrock Coal Creek in Tennessee please give some info about it.!!The trucks to run will be 33"+ tires with 3" to 6" of lift and lockers, so maybe we will be doing from medium Moderate to dificult trails.!! Is there any River crossing, mud pits, rocks??
Please let me know with any info.!
And anybody from knoxville and sourrounding areas are welcome!! Please email me back here rig002@hotmail.com
Thanks
Rafael

Windrock is fun, does have some difficult sections. I have a stock 4runner w/ no e-locker and i still have fun when i go with guys locked fr/rr on 33's. Most harder stuff has bypasses around it. Only this is you gotta watch out for all the 4wheelers/ dirtbikes that run around out there. PM Crolison, he is another local guy like me and ask him (97 4runner, locked fr/rr, 33's) he should be able to give you a better description of the things you will be looking for.
