Seven trucks, two days, lots of fun had. There was no significant carnage and all damage was limited to skidplates, sliders and a little wheel rash.

He did. The owner (Adam) is new to wheeling and did a great job. The spacer lift and sliders have been installed in the past six weeks. Even with the stock street tires it did really well.

we had a member that wanted to go with an FJ80, and we told him that he wouldn't fit... guess we were wrong.

Mud Lake is the name of the lake in the bottom pic.

I definitely wouldn't want anything ANY wider. He fit but it was tight in quite a few places.

Nice! I was wondering how much snow now. Thought about going next weekend maybe.
How much room did that 4th gen have between the trees? I so want to take my 100-series through Squaw but that's the one section I don't think I'll fit. I think the newer 4runners are pretty close to the width of a Hundy (w/mirrors tucked, lol). Did you all take the bypass at the rock garden or did someone try it?

I am sure you could make it. The tightest places were the trees once you reach the top of Squaw Peak. He had to fold his mirrors in, but he did make it.

Which rock garden are you referring to? There is one that we accidentally bypassed. We didn't know we had passed it until it was too late to back out. The bypass was one of the tighter places for the 4th gen...he had to do about a six point turn to get around a tree, but again, do-able. You will want rock sliders though, his got used a lot.

It was a really nice weekend. The recent rain meant the trail was not dusty at all and the temps were perfect for driving with the windows down. It actually rained overnight on us and I was worried we were going to get snow.

I grew up in Sonora, BTW.

Seeing those pics really makes me want to go up there, I think I'm gonna try next week.

Wow, nobody on this forum knows where Sonora is. Nice to find someone else that knows about this place. If you ever come back up, shoot me a PM
