#21
we had just finished b-fast and were done packing.. so we watched a little..
first wondered if you stuck on the big rock up there... and I figured you were just takin pics..
not sure about the big run in big bear... I have only been wheelin twice, and I just got the rig so I'm still testing things out.. and the carbs run like crap..
and I have lots of climbing to do that weekend.....
otherwise.. I would love to go.. Ha ha..

EDIT: you should call me next time you go out there too, I frequent those parts alot to go shooting, and I am always up for spur of the moment stuff.

Yeah he was not real happy with me but I guess if I lived there and farmed birds in cages in the middle of no where I would be a bit cranky to.
Oh well I still had fun and it makes for a good story.

We were hauling @** on these short dirt roads and he said that he didn't understand why we were going so fast on _HIS_ property. No private property signs were spotted on the sections we were on.

We were going extremely fast! I was sliding around the turns and Ryan got a bit of air on a small hill in the road.
We always find a way to have fun out wheelin.
It is not private property period. It is an access road that his house is on. He is just a wierd old desert dude. We are not land users and abusers. If it is posted we do not tread there ever.
It was kinda funny because when my wife saw him coming she reached over and locked the doors. LOL

if you go around the corner from there, to the west about a half mile, there is a very large area where you can really go fast. It's out of the way of the crazy bird man, and its absolutely ok to be out there doing pretty much whatever you want. There is one really nasty trail that goes up to the top of the mountain that you guys are talking about. I saw some jeeps take it one day but I couln't do it with the stock runner. There is a really nasty set of rock and then a tight squeeze between some very large boulders, and all of this is on a cliff road. It is in the section of the map labeled "area of difficult 4 wheeling" That whole dotted line section is pretty knarly. I camped as far as I could make it up that trail a few months ago.

Yeah that is the where lots of us shoot. We thought you were talking about an area at Inkopah.
And yes you can walk without touching the ground on spent shells and casings.
Lots of people out there are very unsafe about shooting from what I have seen so you just have to be careful which area you pick.
Are you putting your lift on today/tomorrow?
