Well, it was nice meeting everyone and hanging out with Russel and Stacie again. Jason, thanks for getting everything organized. Most of my pics are from Friday afternoon, when Jason, Tricia, Me, Milton, and John were out on the dunes. Saturday, I missed the early run that everyone went on and I didn't get any pics when we went out that afternoon. I can't wait till next year. Now on to the pics:

Base camp

Jason (L33T35T) and John

Tricia (Toy ta that could)

Milton (Cabbage) and John

Here is the link to a few more pics. Sorry, I didn't get too many action photos on Saturday. I would of had more of Milton, but he is too quick.

I also tried out my new co2 system this weekend. It was so freakin fast to air up.

That trip was awesome! It was great meeting everyone and hanging out with April, Chris, and watching Jack get some playtime in on the sand. Stacey had a great time too :-) Milton: wow. that's about all I can say about your truck. I unfortunately did not get any pictures, but Stacey did so I'll post those as soon as she emails them to me.

I had a great time this weekend!! I'll tell you being an Idaho boy and used to wheeling technical stuff in the mountains Pismo is a whole new experience. I could not get over how many crazy people were out there and some of the toys that I seen. Definately an interesting experience. Here are a couple of the better pics I took

Group shot

Drag strip.. I opted to just watch after watching Mark literally toss his salad on his drag run... he had salad all over the cargo area of his Runner

The gorgous Pismo Sunset

Pismo Poser shot

Again it was great to finally meet some of you Cali guys and do some wheeling.

Nice to see you all out there. Pismo is always a mixture of offroading fun and annoying noise and behaviors of the neighbors

Thanks for help digging me out on the crest of the dune. That's the first time I've been burried (let alone down to the frame!) and the first I've been towed I think.

Hope some one had time to take a photo of the incident for my records

Some pics...

Loved this air down system. I'll have to price parts vs the Staun Bleeders I was about to buy.

After seeing the pics from Saturday morning, I am totally bummed that I missed that part! Does anyone know what happened to all the left over wood? Did Steve take it to his other campsite for the week? I had a great time, but I was bummed to not get to wheel with Expat and UKMyers. I think next time I am going to camp, that drive in and out of the beach is a beeatch! See you all next year, if not sooner!

I had a good time. It was great meeting some of the folks from Yotatech. I never got out my camera. I was having too much fun.

This trip to Pismo was the first time I really pushed my runner hard.
Joey led me up the steep hill before I knew what was going on... and I ended up farther up the hill than he did - WAY COOL. Nearly getting stuck in the bowl, then figuring out how to get myself out, priceless.

My friend Matt and his daughter Dylan had a good time visiting. Dylan really liked wheeling. She was squealing and laughing as we zipped around in the dunes. The description I gave her of the fun was "humpty-bump". When they got home she started riding her "atv" (tricycle) all over the yard as fast as she could and humpty bumping over anything she could. Mom was quite amused and a bit horrified as Dylan is usually a cautious rider. Not anymore...

Sorry I ended up getting dragged away for Saturday afternoon and evening. Next time I go on a trip, I am turning off my cell phone, unless I need to make an outbound call. ;-)

Chris, I burned up most of the wood when I got back late Saturday night. I left a small bit of oak behind as I didn't know the origin. I don't want to take a chance on getting the oak killing fungus on my property anytime soon.

I went and bought an annual pass on Sunday afternoon. I also bought a flag. When I was out wheeling in the dunes on my own I almost got nailed by a quad. HIGH PUCKER FACTOR!! It missed me by about 6 inches. I don't think I would have liked a body bouncing off my windshield.

Milton, I still want a ride in your truck. PM me for contact info.

I have to get back to work.

Roy T.

I had a wonderful time this year bring my own car out and having some fun. After being a little cautious about going down hills I started to get the hang of it and didn't want to leave. Thanks for being patient with me! I can't wait for next year or the next time I can get out there.
