quick snow runs aren't just for scofco anymore

indian canyon, yesterday.

below the snowline

right when i hit 4000 feet elevation, that's when the snow started. yeah going in the snow isn't normally a big deal, but in so cal when it's right outside santa clarita at such a low elevation, that's a big deal, for me at least. norally i'd have to drive up to wrightwood to see the first signs of snow, about 60 miles from me. these pics were taken off inidan canyon trail. the entrance is a few miles down soledad, past the sand canyon exit on the 14. it's near mt gleason.

snow level is supposed to go down to 2000 ft with this next storm. come on so cal people, take advantage. just don't crowd mt. high, cause i want to go there tomorrow and not face a lot of traffic

I'll have to get out and play this weekend.

Now that the -40 weather has ceased, I don't have to worry about everything on my truck becoming brittle and snapping.

By the way... if you ever wanna trade rigs... *whistles and looks around*
