My uncle has a cattle ranch in a valley outside Meeker Colorado and my family was up visiting on vacation. He let me go explore some of the old jeep roads that overlooked his land. The roads were very easy to drive but the scenery was spectacular. I had my highway tires on because a few days later I drove home to New Orleans for the summer. Although some of the roads are private, I think anyone can do part of the trail that is on BLM land. In the picture with my little sister you can see just a little of Meeker in the background.
