Looking for new trails? check out this website

its dirtopia.com , I found this website the other day and thought it was a great idea. It lists all sorts of off road trails in all 50 states. Whats so great about it is it works like wikipedia where everyone can contribute and edit it. So far there was only 2 listed in Az (where I'm from) but I think the website is new so I'm sure in time it will have many more trails. I checked the california section and there was a TON. You can post pics, directions, descriptions, the whole 9 yards. Just though I would give everyone here a heads up on it since so many people are looking for new trails, and I'm sure a lot of people here have a lot of information they could contribute to it.

i dont know how other people in other states feel about it, but in florida many of us dont post up directions or the actual name of the place to keep it safe from those tree hugging hippies that are out there...

yeah I think a huge site like that isn't really such a good idea...

we have a local site where we post maps to trails but it doesn't get much exposure, so we don't have the domino effect

Not so much that for me, but a lot of the trails have some mud, and if the wrong crowd of full-size guys gets word, they go in there at night and just tear it up and make it a total mess and unpassable for anyone, just wreck the place. Those guys ruin a LOT of trails for us around here.
