Fall River Rd, CO. 3/4/07

3/4/07 We head out to do Fall River Rd but 200 yards up the trail the snow became impassable. Some didn't belive that so TC decided to blast into it. He launched his 4runner and sank to his skids. We yanked to no avail so we started digging and jacking. (sorry no pictures from me on this) after digging out we decided to go to Yankee Hill. The road up was fine. We picked up two more Toyotas near the trail head.

Does there look like enough snow at yankee to snowboard down some hills? Maybe make a jump?

I think there was more snow at Fall River Rd actually. With some work, you might be able to get through Yankee Hill...

By the way, thanks for not snubbing my sons in their non-Toyotas. This was my youngest son's first, driving, wheeling trip. Hopefuly next time we can get more trails in.
