crabtree falls/ shoe creek trail
We came down and did this trail for the day. Some friends had a cabin for really cheap a few minutes from the beginning of the trail. I think it was only 250 for the weekend and no security deposit. Started early, stopped at the trail to hike to the falls, other than the fact that we never found the falls. The trail ended at this campfire spot. We saw some falls, but not THE falls. Stopped on the trail to have some lunch. There were quite a few water crossings as well. This was my first time really testing out my IFS and it worked amazing. We ended up catching to some newer model 4runners and watched them crawl down. I've spent a bit of money on my SAS swap recently so figured I better not test my limits with the rocks and break something. The trail wasn't very populated, but lots of ppl camping off to the sides and enjoying the weather. Very easy to find and very doable for a stock 4x4.

I ran that trail in my buddies Izuzu Rodeo. Good fun, did lots of mountain biking in that area. Stayed at Crabtree Falls Campground in a cabin right off the creek.
Nice pod speakers and strips btw....
