Chiva Falls - Tucson, Arizona

Went wheeling with my local off-roading forum today to Chiva Falls and the lower loop. Tucsonoffroad.net sponsors this trail. We met up at 7:00am and didn't get back out until 7:30pm. Was a day full of fun, as it was my maiden voyage with my runner.

To avoid me having to save and respot pictures, I'll just post a link to our website to view the pics. Vids should be coming soon.

PS: I was the only toyota, although there are some pics of a 4runner buggy that rolled. Some punk kids who were drinking and wheeling.

Well if you're ever interested, someone always has an open seat to ride along. I'm actually a U of A student as well, and I only work on the weekends, but I knew about this trip far enough in advance that I was able to request off. Most of the guys live on that side of town, except for me, but I'm moving down by the u of a on the 20th.

As for the kids, well they definatly had some sweet rides no doubt. They just need to use their brain a little more. Where they got stuck trying to get back to the falls is definatly not part of the trail, and its the kind of behavior that gets the trails shut down. Not to mention, TOR Inc. adopted part of this trail, and they were trying to leave beer cans behind and such.

All in all it was a fun time, definatly join up over at Tucsonoffroad.net, and ride along on a trip. They are going out to chiva again in March sometime. I won't be making this trip unfortunatly.
