where'd you get that tarp you attached to the back of your truck?.

I have been searching for something like that for a long time now....keep finding tents but no tarps?

Man... awesome writeup and pics.

I'd really like to explore that area... seems like you'd be able to disappear for weeks. I have never camped on or near the ocean. Could almost smell the salt water and taste the beer while looking over your photos and reading the descriptions.

Not many men have are lucky enough to have a girlfriend that will travel across hundreds of miles of dirt, camp where Pumas sleep on the roof and eat breakfast in a Mexican whorehouse.

Must have been nice to actually see some of the places you raced through.

Thanks for sharing...

Maybe we can get something going a night this weekend. Could be fun with the recent rain. Not necessarily mud, just might find some water and probably a lot less dust.

This is the exact same thing I want to do with my 4Runner. I just bought it from having a Cobra for a couple of years. I used to explore Baja when I was a teenager in a 2wd Rodeo. Only got stuck once, but it wasn't a big deal. My new wife and I would love to go out for 5 days like this. Seeming how we are in San Diego...its a perfect launching pad!
