Just bought an 85 4runner in San Jose, Ca. I'm flying down later this week to drive it back to Seattle. I've had a mechanic go through it to make sure there are no major problems... Therer were not!??? In case something does go wrong I was hoping to have a few contacts along I-5 between San Jose/Seattle to call for help...?

I hope to be on the road before noon on friday. : in the Redwoods that night. Then finish on saturday.

I would love to post some toyota porn but I have tried many times and just can't get it to work. Is it me or the Mac???

So are you going to cut over to the 101? I just came back from south of LA last week, I was there for a week and on the way down the pass over Shasta was closed about an hour after I went through from snow, on the way back we kept getting warnings about the pass so we took I5 for a while and then cut over to 101 around SF and took that to Grants Pass, it really is a nice drive. You can PM me for my number if you think you will need it, I am a ways off I5 but might be able to help if you need it in the Portland area.

 

I think the issue is with the photo's. I'll get some pics posted next week when I get her home. Till then the written version will have to do. 85 4runner SR5 stock... Let the good times roll!

Made it with out a single problem. Got 22mpg's. It didn't even rain on us. Thanks to all who offered their assistance.
